Job summary

BaptistCare NSW & ACT seeks a Chef Manager to lead the Mid Richmond Centre, Coraki kitchen, delivering high-quality meals and exceptional dining experiences for residents. This hands-on leadership role requires culinary expertise and compassionate management in a residential aged care setting.

The position is full-time (76 hours per fortnight) with visa sponsorship available for eligible international candidates and a salary package including salary packaging benefits.

Qualifications

• Proof of Chef qualification or equivalent credential.
• Experience managing large-scale catering operations.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and HACCP principles.
• Experience in aged care, healthcare or large catering environments.

A single-storey building that’s easy to navigate, Mid Richmond Centre provides 49 beds for residents across all levels of care. About You

We're looking for someone who brings both culinary expertise and compassionate leadership.

You will have:

• Proof of Qualification as a Chef
• Experience managing large‑scale catering operations
• Strong understanding of food safety and HACCP principles
• Experience leading and developing teams
• Ability to prepare diverse, high‑quality meals while maintaining nutrition and flavour
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• A positive, collaborative and adaptable approach
• Previous experience in aged care, healthcare, hospitality or large catering environments
