Mr. Miyagi on Chapel Street, Windsor, Melbourne, is seeking a Chef de Partie to join a bustling, iconic Japanese-inspired kitchen.

You will own your section, manage prep, stock and service, and mentor junior chefs while upholding top standards of cleanliness and food safety. Ideal candidates are experienced CDPs or strong Demi chefs ready to step up, with a calm head under pressure and a passion for great food.

Qualifications

• CDP or strong Demi ready to step up with experience in busy kitchens.
• Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen.
• Able to mentor junior chefs and maintain kitchen discipline.

Mr. Miyagi is on the hunt for a talented Chef de Partie to join the crew at one of Melbourne’s most iconic restaurants.

Since 2013, we’ve been putting our own playful spin on Japanese-inspired dining on Chapel Street, Windsor. We love bold food, big services and having a good time, but our standards are never negotiable.

We’re looking for a chef who takes pride in their food, owns their section and thrives under pressure.

Chef de Partie (CDP) | Mr. Miyagi, Windsor

What you’ll be doing

• Running your section and delivering consistently great food.

• Keeping prep, service, stock and organisation on point.

• Supporting and mentoring junior chefs.

• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, food safety and kitchen operations.

• Bringing a strong work ethic and team-first attitude every shift.

What we’re looking for

• An experienced CDP or a strong Demi ready to step up.

• Experience in a busy, high-volume kitchen.

• Confidence, organisation and a cool head during service.

• Knowledge of ordering, stock control and par levels.

• A passion for great food, a good attitude and no ego.
