About the Role:

In the role of Chef de Partie, your responsibilities will include overseeing a designated kitchen section, ensuring that the dishes are prepared, cooked, and presented to meet elevated standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all dishes from the assigned section are prepared to the highest quality and in a timely manner.
  • Prepare and cook dishes according to the established recipes, standards, and specifications.
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation.
  • Assist in monitoring and controlling inventory levels for the assigned section.
  • Work closely with other chefs and kitchen staff to ensure smooth coordination during busy periods.

Requirements:

  • Completion of a Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or an equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years experience as a Chef
  • Proficiency in culinary techniques and a comprehensive understanding of food preparation.
  • Have good communication skills and attitude, familiar with teamwork.

  • Possession of a valid English language certificate is mandatory, with a minimum overall score of 5.5 and no individual component scoring below 5.0 on the IELTS test.
  • Successful completion of a Skill Assessment from the appropriate Australian skill assessing authorities (TRA or VETASSESS) may be required, contingent on your passport or the location of your placement.
