Job summary

The Star Entertainment Group seeks a Chef de Cuisine for our Commissary Kitchen in Sydney. You will lead a team of chefs under the Executive Sous Chef, driving excellence across a multi-venue property and overseeing culinary operations in a fast-paced environment.

You will participate in menu development, pricing and staff training, ensuring high standards of food quality, cost control, and guest satisfaction across The Star Sydney venues.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior Chef with industry qualifications, such as Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery.
• Experience managing a lively and fast-paced team.
• Strong understanding of produce, culinary techniques, and kitchen equipment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Full working rights to commit to a minimum of 40 hours per week, including weekends and holidays.

As our Chef de Cuisine in our Commissary Kitchen operation, reporting to our Executive Sous Chef, you will be a natural leader in the kitchen and bring the best out of your team every day.

This is a fantastic opportunity where you will lead a team of exception chefs and provide support across the entire Sydney property and its venues.

• Full working rights to commit to a minimum of 40 hours per week working varied shifts, including weekends, public holidays, late nights and early mornings
