Who We’re Looking For
We are looking for committed and self-motivated individuals who can bring professionalism and energy to our kitchen.
Positions Available
We are hiring for two full-time positions:
- Chef – a leadership role involving menu planning, high-level cooking, and kitchen management
- Cook – a hands-on role focused on food preparation and support for the daily running of the kitchen
Key Responsibilities (Both Roles)
- Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes to meet customer expectations
- Follow food safety and hygiene regulations consistently
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service
- Control stock levels and minimise wastage
- Availability on weekends and public holidays is essential
Additional Responsibilities for Chef
- Lead and supervise kitchen staff
- Design seasonal menus and weekly specials
- Ensure smooth kitchen operations and compliance with regulations
- Manage rosters and kitchen budgets
Qualifications and Experience
- At least 2–3 years of experience in a similar role (Cook or Chef)
- Formal qualification in Commercial Cookery (Cert III/IV for Cook, Diploma or above for Chef)
- Strong time management and leadership skills
- Willingness to relocate to or already residing in a rural/regional area is essential
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
