Job summary

Newcastle Meals on Wheels is seeking a Chef/Cook to join our not-for-profit team in Tighes Hill, NSW. You will prepare nutritious meals for older people in a fast-paced production kitchen, while maintaining high safety and quality standards and supporting daily targets in a collaborative environment.

The role offers daytime shifts with an immediate start for the right candidate and opportunities for on-the-job and external training.

Qualifications

• Qualified chef or experienced cook in a fast-paced commercial kitchen.
• Strong understanding of food safety, WHS, and kitchen processes.
• Team-focused, reliable, and well-organised.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking to recruit aChef/Cookon a permanent full-time basis to join our friendly food services team. You’ll help prepare nutritious meals for older people in our community while enjoying a supportive workplace and predictable daytime shifts.An immediate start is available for the right candidate.

About the Role

This is a fast‑paced production kitchen environment that suits someone who enjoys staying busy, working efficiently, and being part of a team that gets things done. Key responsibilities of the role include –

About You
