Montalto Vineyard on the Mornington Peninsula is seeking an experienced Chef or Cook to join our professional kitchen team. You will prepare and deliver high-quality dishes across restaurant, cellar door and events service.

Bring at least three years of commercial cooking experience, strong knowledge of food safety, and a collaborative mindset to thrive in a busy, premium dining environment. You will contribute to seasonal menus, mentor junior staff and help maintain a clean, organised kitchen

Qualificações

• At least three years’ relevant commercial cooking experience.
• Experience working in a professional hospitality kitchen.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene and kitchen operations.
• A passion for quality food and consistent presentation.
• The ability to work calmly and collaboratively during busy services.
• Strong communication, organisation and time‑management skills.
• Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays.

The Restaurant at Montalto presents an ever-changing set menu showcasing a seasonal celebration of estate‑grown heirloom produce, alongside the very best locally sourced ingredients from across the Mornington Peninsula.

Designed specifically for sharing, curated collections of dishes arrive at the table in a series of courses. Each course highlights the connection between our estate gardens, expertly managed by our Produce Manager, our kitchens and our award‑winning wines.
