Job summary

The Meat and Wine Co Bella Vista is seeking an experienced Chef to join our kitchen team. You will be responsible for preparing all dishes to our standard, leading a dedicated team and maintaining high hygiene and safety practices in a fast-paced environment.

We offer a full-time role with a salary range of $80,000-$90,000 plus superannuation, with opportunities for career growth within a national group. Weekend, night and public holiday rosters apply.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of proven kitchen experience in a fast paced, high volume environment.
• Prepare all dishes to The Meat & Wine Co standard.
• A relevant Diploma qualification OR at least 1-3 years of relevant employment experience.
• Experience cooking over a char-grill essential.
• Strong leadership, motivational and people skills.
• Effective communication skills to maintain a secure and friendly working environment.
• Impeccable presentation, hygiene and grooming standards.
• Ensure compliance with all OHS legislation (act and regulation).
• Ability to work over a 7-day rotating roster, including weekends, nights and public holidays.

To be considered for this role you will need to possess the following:
