Do you have a passion for crafting exceptional dishes and leading a kitchen team to success?

What we are looking for:

• A certified culinary expert with an Australian certificate IV in commercial cookery.
• An ability to communicate effectively with team members.
• A flair for creativity and a drive for excellence in every dish.
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience required.
• Understanding of industry standard hygiene practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage kitchen operations, including stock, wastage, and food safety.
• Ensure the kitchen adheres to Health & Safety Regulations including Food Hygiene standards.
• Assist in menu development design, bringing creative ideas and innovations to the table.
• The ability to work cohesively in a small team.
• Collaborate on menu planning with Chef, Manager and residents.
• Ensure menu caters to dietary needs, preferences, and cultural requirements.
• Deliver food services based on resident choices.
• High standards of food presentation, cleanliness, punctuality and organisation.
• Communicate promptly with Chef, Manager on kitchen operations, safety plans, and menu concerns.

To be successful in this role, you will be available to work varied shifts from day to late evenings, including weekends as per our business demands.
