Job summary

Carinity is seeking an experienced Chaplaincy Coordinator to lead and strengthen chaplaincy services across residential aged care, Queensland hospitals and disaster response settings. The role combines ministry leadership, pastoral care and stakeholder engagement, supporting chaplains, volunteers and church partners who provide spiritual care.

The position involves coordinating chaplaincy services, mentoring volunteers, forging partnerships with churches and health services, and driving

Qualifications

• Ordination or registration as a Pastor with Queensland Baptists.
• Experience in pastoral care, spiritual care, chaplaincy or ministry leadership.
• Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) or equivalent qualification.
• Experience supporting grief, trauma, illness, palliative care or crisis.
• Experience coordinating, mentoring or developing chaplains, volunteers or trainees.
• Availability to occasionally work after hours.
• Commitment to Carinity's Christian Mission, Vision and Values.

AboutYou

To be successful inthis role, you will have:
