AIA Australia is seeking a Change Manager in Melbourne for a 12-month day-rate contract to lead and deliver change management across multiple projects. You will shape change strategies, engage stakeholders, and drive adoption during a cloud migration and related initiatives.

You will coach and mentor others, contribute to the change community, and ensure readiness and benefits realisation across the program.

The opportunity

AIA currently have an opportunity for a Change Manager to join their team in Melbourne. This 12-month day rate contract is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Change Manager to apply their technology lens and lead and deliver change management outcomes across a portfolio of small to medium-sized projects. You will be responsible for developing and executing change strategies, including change analysis, planning, stakeholder engagement and implementation activities, ensuring people are successfully prepared for and supported through change. Leveraging your strong change management expertise and ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, you will drive successful adoption and benefits realisation. In addition, you will play a key leadership role within the change community, coaching and mentoring others to build organisational change capability and supporting the broader change leadership agenda. The initial assignment that this Change Manager will be responsible for leading and designing the change agenda to support uplift of remaining on-prem systems and applications to Cloud environment as part of a multi-year program. The successful incumbent will work with various project managers to understand people and organisational change impacts associated with migration strategy. Right sizing the effort based on the change profile of the release, building on concurrent or adjacent change releases being generated by other projects with aligned stakeholders.

To do this successfully you will

• Lead end-to-end change management delivery across projects, programs and agile initiatives to drive successful adoption and business outcomes.
• Provide strategic change leadership, influencing stakeholders and translating insights into effective change strategies.
• Define change impacts, outcomes and approaches, ensuring a clear understanding of what needs to change and why.
• Develop and execute change plans, including stakeholder engagement, communications, readiness and business transition activities.
• Drive implementation and embedment of change through business leaders, ensuring benefits are realised and sustained.
• Leverage human-centered design, agile practices, organisational design, digital tools, data insights and AI-enabled approaches to enhance change outcomes.
• Contribute to change governance and capability development through coaching, mentoring, best practice sharing, and continuous improvement of change frameworks, tools and methodologies.

Successful applications will demonstrate

• Demonstrated expert experience designing and implementing change management for large complex programs of work within the financial services or insurance industries
• Experience working on technology programs and in particular working on finance and technology systems
• Experience utilizing AI within the change management process
• A high level of experience working with a range of senior stakeholders, gaining exposure to, and confidence with, C‑Suite Business or related degree, with additional formal Change Management qualification will be highly regarded
• Being highly adept at change ‘sense‑making’, understanding environmental factors, mindsets and cultural factors and ability to apply for better change outcomes
• Experience in successfully managing a long‑term remediation program is essential
