Salary and location: Total Remuneration Package: $145,000 – $150,000 inclusive of superannuation. Location: Negotiable across SRW major offices with willingness to travel to Werribee as required.

Southern Rural Water is seeking an experienced Change Manager to play a leading role in shaping the success of our Digital Transformation Program, including Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and other enterprise-wide initiatives.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead organisational change in this dynamic space, driving business readiness, smooth transitions, and embedding new systems, processes, and behaviours that will transform the way SRW operates into the future.

As the Change Manager, you will provide strategic change leadership, drive stakeholder engagement, and oversee communications and training to support change adoption. This role is central to minimising disruption, building capability, and delivering long lasting value from our digital transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and execution of change management strategies and plans for ERP, ICT, and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Collaborate with project managers and business leads to embed change, stakeholder engagement, and training into project lifecycles.
  • Conduct change impact assessments, stakeholder analyses, and readiness reviews to inform transition plans.
  • Develop and deliver communication strategies that engage stakeholders, foster buy-in, and build trust in digital transformation initiatives.
About you

The successful candidate for this position will be able to demonstrate some of the desired experience and abilities below:

  • Degree or equivalent qualifications in Business, Technology, Organisational Change, Communications, or related discipline.
  • Certification in Change Management.
  • Extensive experience in organisational change management within ERP and enterprise-wide digital transformation programs, ideally in government, utilities, or regulated industries.
  • Deep knowledge of change management frameworks and methodologies (eg. Prosci, ADKAR, Kotter), with proven ability to integrate change, communications, training, and adoption practices into project lifecycles.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills, with the ability to influence and build trust with senior management, and operational teams.
