Job summary

Visiting Angels Brighton is seeking an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide in-home care. We offer a range of shifts including full-time, part-time, 8, 10, 12 hour shifts, PRN, short shifts and overnight care in the local Brighton area.

Join a respected in-home care team committed to compassionate, reliable service. Requirements include 18+ years old, 1 year caregiving, valid driver’s license, background check and random drug testing.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Minimum of 1 year caregiving experience.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Background check required.
• Random drug testing.
• All compensation is determined on experience and merit.

Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor's appointments, walks, etc.)
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Help clients with routine exercises
• Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able)
• Do the client's shopping or accompany them when they shop
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can't complete on their own
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion
• Report any unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
