Job summary

QCE Child Care in Mittagong is seeking a friendly, enthusiastic and caring Early Childhood Educator with Certificate III or Diploma qualifications to join our team. You’ll help create a warm, safe environment where children can learn through play and daily routines.

Qualifications

• Completed Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent).
• Current NSW Working With Children Check.
• Current First Aid and CPR qualifications.
• Understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Framework.
• Availability to work full-time across operating hours (7:00am–6:00pm, Monday to Friday).
• Unrestricted working rights in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships with children, families, and fellow educators.
• Support children's learning through play, activities, and daily experiences.
• Contribute to observations, programming and documentation.
• Assist with daily routines and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Collaborate with the team to deliver quality care and education.
• Share ideas, communicate openly, and contribute to the room.
