Job summary

LVL80 NSW Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced and motivated Rigger to join our NSW operations team. This hands-on role is suited to a qualified rigger who enjoys working across varied construction projects and is confident undertaking safe rigging, installation and dismantling activities involving cranes, hoists and associated equipment.

Qualifications

• Current High Risk Work Rigging Licence appropriate to the work performed
• Construction Industry White Card
• Current Working at Heights competency
• Demonstrated experience in rigging within construction, cranes, hoists or similar environments
• Sound understanding of safe rigging practices, lifting equipment and load handling
• Ability to interpret lift plans, follow instructions and work effectively as part of a site-based team
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
• Current driver’s licence
• Flexibility to work across various NSW project locations as required
• Experience with tower cranes, construction hoists or other specialist lifting equipment will be highly regarded, but the role is open to riggers with relevant transferable experience.

Responsibilities

• Undertaking rigging activities associated with the erection, installation, alteration and dismantling of cranes, hoists and associated equipment
• Selecting, inspecting and using rigging equipment in accordance with lift plans, procedures and site requirements
• Assisting with lifting operations, load movements and the safe positioning of equipment and materials
• Working safely at heights and within active construction environments
• Completing pre-start checks, equipment inspections and required site documentation
• Working closely with supervisors, crane crews, site teams and other LVL80 personnel
• Identifying hazards, following safe work procedures and contributing to site risk assessments
• Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with relevant safety requirements and company procedures
