We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Parks and Gardens Apprentice. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience while completing a nationally recognised qualification in horticulture.

About the Role

As an apprentice, you will work alongside experienced horticulturalists and grounds staff to:

  • Assist with planting, pruning, mulching, and general garden maintenance
  • Operate and maintain horticultural equipment and machinery
  • Learn turf care, landscaping, and plant identification
  • Contribute to the upkeep of parks, reserves, and public spaces for the community to enjoy

About You

Has a genuine interest in horticulture and the environment

Enjoys working outdoors in all weather conditions

Works well in a team and follows safety procedures

Is reliable, eager to learn, and committed to completing a 3–4 year apprenticeship
