Job summary

BFS Bundanoon District Community Preschool, part of BFS Children's Services, is seeking a Certificate III Educator for a term-only role. The service offers a welcoming environment with strong community links and opportunities to contribute to learning, play, and development across a supportive team.

You will supporting celebrating Indigenous and local community connections while delivering quality education and care, and planning programs that meet each child’s goals in a nurturing setting.

Qualifications

• Certificate III Educator or equivalent is required.
• A NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC) is required.
• National Criminal Record Check is required.
• Commitment to safeguarding all children.
• Culturally safe practice for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and families.

Right now, we’re looking for a Certificate III Educator to join BFS Bundanoon District Community Preschool, an ‘Exceeding – NQS’ rated service. A beautifully situated service, with wonderful outdoor environments that provide explorations and adventure for the children. Encouraging independence, resilience and problem solving, the children have the chance to open their minds wide to many possibilities. With a dedicated team of educators, who have long standing connections to the community and service, you will be welcomed into a supportive network.

As an Early Childhood Educator, you’ll play a critical role in shaping young minds. You’ll create happy, healthy relationships between a child and the most important people in their lives. You’ll bring fun, laughter and play to each day, but most importantly, you’ll create magical moments for children to experiment and grow.

• Evidence of completion of the National Child Safety Training Foundation Course
• Details of a minimum two referees, where one must be a manager or supervisor at your current or most recent workplace.
