Job summary

Belgravia Leisure is seeking a Centre Manager for Michael Clarke Recreation Centre in the Liverpool Council area, NSW. You will lead a dynamic team, drive customer experience, and ensure safe, high-quality operations aligned with contract requirements and council expectations.

You will develop plans with the leadership team, manage budgets, risks and stakeholder relationships, and foster a high‑performance, community-minded culture that delivers value for visitors and the local community.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience managing a leisure or aquatic facility.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Solid knowledge of health and safety legislation.
• Experience planning operational, financial and people plans.
• Current CPR and First Aid certificates.
• National Police Check and Working with Children Check.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Centre team to deliver KPI targets.
• Ensure safety and wellbeing of visitors and staff through policies.
• Manage budgets, risks and customer service standards.
• Recruit, train and develop staff and succession plans.
• Maintain facilities to contract standards and council expectations.
