Job summary

Belgravia Health & Leisure Group Pty Ltd in Victoria seeks a Centre Manager to lead our seasonal pool and deliver exceptional customer experience. You will coach the team, manage operations, finances and programs, and partner with the local Council to meet community needs.

The role is a full‑time fixed-term contract from November to April, requiring strong leadership, risk management and a passion for leisure to drive high performance and a supportive, community‑minded culture.

Qualifications

• Experience managing or leading in a leisure or aquatic facility.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of health and safety legislation.
• Experience planning operational, financial and people plans.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and wellbeing of visitors and staff through policies and procedures.
• Coach and develop leaders to achieve KPIs and development plans.
• Lead a high performance, community minded culture through hands-on leadership.
• Achieve budget targets and maintain relationships with local Council.
• Recruit and develop staff; map career progression and succession.
• Maintain facilities to contracted standards and support service delivery.
