Job summary

G8 Education is seeking a Centre Manager for Great Beginnings Belmont North in Newcastle, NSW. You will lead daily operations, oversee staff, budgets and parent communication while driving high standards of care and education.

The role requires an ACECQA approved Diploma (or higher) in Early Childhood Education and at least 3 years’ leadership experience in a licensed childcare centre. WWCC and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in Early Childhood Education approved by ACECQA.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a licensed childcare setting, including leadership.
• Current Working with Children Check (WWCC) and eligibility.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily centre operations including staffing, budgets and parent communication.
• Inspire and coach Educators and Teachers through mentoring and professional growth.
• Design and deliver age-appropriate activities for holistic child development.
• Prioritise child safety and wellbeing in line with policies.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
• Foster a positive, inclusive culture valuing teamwork and diversity.
