Job summary

G8 Education Limited is seeking a Centre Manager for Community Kids Narrabri, a 76‑place childcare centre, to lead operations, ensure high standards of care, education, compliance and engagement. You’ll manage daily centre operations, coach educators, design engaging activities, prioritise safety and policy adherence, and drive a positive, inclusive culture.

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a licensed childcare centre or similar, including leadership experience.

As our Centre Manager, you’ll be at the heart of our operations, driving excellence in every aspect of the centre. Your leadership will inspire your team, ensuring the highest standards of care, education, compliance and engagement. We’re on the hunt for an energetic, go-getter Centre Manager at Community Kids Narrabri to lead our 76-place childcare centre.

We’re looking for a strong leader and role model who is confident in compliance, team leadership and driving continuous improvement, while creating a positive and welcoming environment for children, families and educators. +

This role is offered as a Full Time, Permanent position, with the flexibility to consider a compressed working week for the right candidate. The Centre is also receiving an exciting refresh, with new flooring and a fresh paint job taking place over the coming week, creating a fresh and inviting environment for our children, families and team.

What You’ll Do:

• Manage daily centre operations, including staffing, budgets, and parent communication.
• Inspire and support Educators and Teachers through coaching, mentoring, and professional growth.
• Design and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities for children’s holistic development.
• Prioritise children’s safety and well-being, adhering to policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with all regulations and standards.
• Cultivate a positive, inclusive culture that values teamwork and diversity.

What you’ll bring:

• ACECQA approved Diploma (or higher) in Early Childhood Education.
• Minimum 3 years of experience working in a licensed childcare centre or similar setting, including experience in a leadership role.
• A current Working with Children Check
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team and manage priorities effectively.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development.
