This is a small, high-quality early learning provider based in Sydney, known for its commitment to excellence, innovation, and community connection. As the Centre Director, you’ll be coached and mentored by a leading Early Childhood professional with over 25 years of experience in the sector.

The organisation prides itself on creating environments where children, families, and educators flourish with a strong focus on quality practice, collaboration, and genuine relationships.

About the Role

As Centre Director, you will oversee daily operations, compliance, and quality outcomes while fostering a positive and high-performing culture. The role requires a strong, confident leader who can maintain exceptional standards and is deeply passionate about curriculum, pedagogy, and child-focused initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team to deliver high-quality early learning experiences.
  • Implement and uphold the highest standards of education, care, and compliance.
  • Drive continuous improvement through reflective practice and innovative approaches.
  • Collaborate with leadership peers and contribute to the organisation’s growth and strategic direction.
  • Support and mentor educators to complete documentation accurately and consistently.
  • Oversee all policies, procedures, QIP and compliance documentation.
  • Actively monitor staff performance, ensuring alignment with regulatory frameworks, codes of conduct, and quality standards.
About You

You are a passionate, confident leader who thrives on collaboration, quality, and purpose. You bring authenticity, vision, and strong communication skills to your leadership approach.

You will also bring:

  • Two years experience in a Centre Management position
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education (ACECQA Approved)
  • Sound working knowledge of the NQF and EYLF
  • Child Protection qualification
  • Current First Aid, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certificates
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • A growth mindset and genuine passion for developing people
