Job summary

A childcare organization in Sutherland Shire is seeking a Centre Director. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in a leadership role and relevant educational qualifications. Qualifications

  • Minimum of two years experience as a Centre Director or experienced Assistant Director.
  • Experience in assessment and rating process and developing a QIP.

  • Promote the service within the local community.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulations and provide high-quality care.

The Centre is located in Sutherland Shire and is part of a growing organization, offering the opportunity for future career progression and is working off the floor. With purpose-built facilities, the service gives children the opportunity to explore, learn and grow in a secure and supportive environment.

The ideal Director

You'll ideally have a minimum of two years experience as a centre director with further experience in both the assessment and rating process and developing a QIP. Alternatively, you can be an experienced Assistant Director seeking career progression. You'll have strong leadership abilities and present with excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to effectively promote the service within the local community.

Suitable applicants must have:
  • Previous experience as Centre Director or Coordinator (2+ years) or experienced as a 2IC
  • Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or ACEQCA equivalent
  • Extensive knowledge of EYLF and NQS
  • Current WWCC, First Aid, Asthma and CPR check
