About the Role

As Centre Director, you’ll lead the centre’s people, quality, and operations, balancing excellence in compliance with a warm, community-minded approach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and inspire a high-performing team.
  • Embed a strong safeguarding culture where child safety comes first.
  • Oversee daily operations: staffing, rostering, facilities, and family engagement.
  • Drive quality against the NQS and lead A&R preparedness.
  • Manage budgets, occupancy, and centre performance.
  • Build trusted relationships with families and the local community.
  • Champion continuous improvement through reflection, feedback, and data.

About You

  • Proven leadership in early childhood or multi-site education settings.
  • Deep knowledge of the NQF and EYLF.
  • Strength in people leadership, communication, and conflict resolution.
  • Operational and financial acumen (budgets, occupancy, reporting).
  • Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood (or equivalent).
  • Current Working With Children Check and relevant clearances.
  • Values-led, reflective, and committed to professional growth.
