Job summary

BFS Cobblers Hill Early Learning is hiring a part-time Cook to join our team in NSW, Australia. You will prepare healthy meals for children aged 0–5 and tailor menus to dietary guidelines while ensuring safety and hygiene in a childcare setting.

Ideal candidates hold a Food Safety Supervisor Certificate or are willing to obtain one, and have qualifications in Menu Planning and Nutrition. A current Working with Children Check and safeguarding commitment are required.

Right now, we’re looking for a Cook to join the team at BFS Cobblers Hill Early Learning. This is a part-time position working Monday to Friday - 25 hours per week.

As the Cook, you will prepare healthy, yummy food for children aged 0-5. You'll have the freedom to adapt a menu that caters to the children's pallets while providing nutritious and healthy meals aligned with the recommendations from the Australian Dietary Guidelines.

What you need to succeed

• A current Working with Children Check
• Qualifications in Menu Planning and Nutrition (or willing to obtain)
• Must hold a Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (or willing to obtain)
• Commitment to making sure the children in our care are safe and healthy
• Dedication to improving the lives and minds of children, families, and the community
• A fun-loving attitude and big smile!
