Job summary

Dragonfly Cares seeks a Center Coordinator (RBT) for our Melville center. The role blends hands-on ABA therapy with center operations, delivering 1:1 sessions under BCBA supervision and coordinating daily schedules, families, and supplies.

You’ll work with a friendly team to grow toward BCBA certification, participate in events, and ensure smooth center functioning. A current RBT, CPR, CPI, and a driver’s license are required, with opportunities for professional development and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Active RBT certification required.
• Minimum of 1+ year ABA experience as an RBT (center-based preferred).
• Current enrollment in a graduate program leading to BCBA certification.
• Current CPR certification.
• CPI certification, or willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Working proficiency with practice-management systems (Passage Health or similar), shared calendars, and spreadsheets.
• Strong organization and follow-through.
• Warm, professional communication with families, staff, and callers.
• Discretion with confidential client and staff information.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to center-based clients under BCBA supervision.
• Collect session data and complete notes the same day.
• Maintain the center schedule and communicate changes to families and staff.
• Track cancellations and flag patterns to the Site Director.
• Answer the center phone and greet families at arrival and pickup.
• Help prepare and set up center events and holiday celebrations.
• Keep client materials, bins, and center supplies organized and stocked.
• Support BCBAs with session note audits, data collection, and orientation of new RBTs.
• Provide session coverage for staff callouts with Lead BCBA approval.
• Assist with center closing procedures and safety checks.
