Job summary

Geosurv is a Sydney-based geospatial and utilities specialist seeking an experienced CCTV Operator. You will conduct CCTV inspections of sewer, stormwater and underground infrastructure, record defects, and produce accurate WinCan reports for clients.

You will also manage field data and CCTV footage, operate and troubleshoot equipment, and liaise with clients to ensure project requirements are met while maintaining safety, quality and environmental standards.

Qualifications

• 1–3+ years' practical experience in CCTV pipeline inspection.
• Experience using CCTV inspection equipment and WinCan reporting software.
• Utility locating experience and competency using locating equipment.
• RIICCM202 or equivalent.
• DBYD accreditation or working towards accreditation.
• Solid understanding of AS 5488 and underground utility classification.
• Attention to detail and accurate field data and reporting.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment on site.

Responsibilities

• Conduct CCTV inspections of sewer, stormwater, and underground infrastructure.
• Identify defects, blockages, cracks and asset conditions.
• Complete pipeline inspection reports using WinCan and deliver to clients.
• Manage CCTV footage, field data and project documentation from site to completion.
• Operate, maintain and troubleshoot CCTV inspection equipment.
• Liaise with clients to understand project requirements and provide technical advice.
• Deliver work safely, efficiently and per project specs and standards.
• Undertake utility locating when required, interpreting plans and locating services.
• Support project planning, methodologies, scopes and pricing with CCTV input.
• Mentor trainees as CCTV capability grows.
