Job summary

Central Coast Local Health District is seeking a practical Handyperson to maintain safe and well-presented hospital and community facilities across the Central Coast. You will perform planned maintenance and assist teams with repairs, relocations and site tasks.

This role requires hands-on skills, the ability to work safely in a healthcare setting, and a current Australian Driver’s Licence. Weekend roster participation is required as needed.

Qualifications

  • Experience in maintenance, building services infrastructure or general site maintenance.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work safely, efficiently and independently when required.
  • Good communication, interpersonal and customer service skills, with basic computer skills.
  • The ability to work collaboratively as part of a multifaceted maintenance team in a busy healthcare environment.
  • A current Australian Driver’s Licence and a willingness to participate in the weekend Handyperson roster and obtain relevant licences or qualifications as required.

Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with staff, contractors and stakeholders to provide timely, responsive and customer-focused maintenance services, including participating in a weekend Handyperson roster as required.

About the Opportunity
