Job summary

Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools Ltd (MACS) is seeking a Principal for St Elizabeth’s School, Dandenong North to lead a dynamic Catholic learning community.

You will shape strategic direction, oversee curriculum and wellbeing, work with the Parish and MACS, and drive enrolment growth while ensuring safety, compliance and financial stewardship. Commencement Term 1 2027 and applications close 9 November 2026.

Qualifications

• Evidence of strong faith leadership within a Catholic community.
• Ability to lead teaching and learning programs with evidence-based practice.
• Commitment to safety and wellbeing of staff, students and community.
• Experience growing enrolments and maintaining financial stability.
• Understanding of legislative and system wide compliance for Catholic schools.

Responsibilities

• Lead school vision and student outcomes as Principal.
• Collaborate with MACS, Parish, staff and community.
• Guide instructional leadership with a focus on learning and teaching.
• Oversee resources and risk management within strategic plans.
• Ensure compliance with MACS codes and safeguarding standards.
