Job summary

Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools Ltd (MACS) is seeking a Principal for St Mary’s Hastings to lead a faith-driven community where students, staff and families flourish within a Catholic context. Qualifications

Evidence of strong faith leadership within a Catholic community.
Demonstrated ability to lead instructional programs and school curriculum.
Commitment to health, safety and wellbeing of students and staff in line with MACS standards.
Experience in enrolment growth and financial stewardship within a school setting.
Understanding and application of legislative and systemic compliance for Catholic schools.
Demonstrated pastoral leadership and ability to provide multiple pathways for student outcomes.
Strong coaching and leadership to enable team growth and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Lead the school community within a Catholic context to realise the school’s vision.
Collaborate with MACS, staff, Parish Priest and the school community to meet school goals.
Ensure safety, wellbeing and compliance across all school operations.
Drive enrolment growth and financial stewardship within an evidence-based strategic plan.
Provide pastoral care and high-quality education with multiple pathways for students.
