Qualifications

• Current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) Registration is required.

• Demonstrated commitment to Child Safe Standards and safeguarding children.
• Willingness to work flexibly across Foundation to Year 6 and specialist programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide commitment to Catholic Education and to the safety, wellbeing and protection of children and young people.
• Support the Catholic identity and values of St Mary's Primary School.
• Deliver engaging learning using plans provided by the classroom teacher.
• Create safe, positive and inclusive learning environments; maintain routines and positive behaviour expectations.
• Support students with diverse learning and wellbeing needs.
• Work collaboratively with Learning Support Officers and school staff.
• Communicate professionally and provide clear feedback to classroom teachers.
• Demonstrate professionalism, flexibility and a strong commitment to child safety.
