Job summary

Thompson Health Care is seeking a Cleaning, Catering and Laundry Attendant to join Oran Park House on a casual or part-time basis. You will help deliver dining services and maintain a clean, safe environment for residents.

Based at Oran Park House, 1 Thompson Road Oran Park NSW 2570, you will enjoy extensive onsite training and ongoing support while delivering high-quality hospitality to residents. Availability includes shifts from 07:30–15:00 and 07:00–15:00 on weekdays, with flexibility to

Qualifications

• Police Check (National Police Certificate) – Essential.
• At least 1 year experience as a catering, cleaning or laundry attendant (Desirable).
• Previous experience in an aged care environment (Desirable).
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• A positive attitude and genuine passion for supporting the elderly.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation, meal delivery, and maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen.
• Perform cleaning duties including dusting, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, and maintaining surfaces such as windows and doors.
• Receive, sort and load, as well as iron, fold and arrange laundry.
• Support residents' dining needs and provide excellent customer service.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and hygiene.
• Follow infection control and food handling procedures.
• Participate in kitchen cleaning and equipment.
• Contribute to a safe, welcoming, and positive dining environment for residents.

Key Responsibilities:
