Job summary

Catering HQ is seeking a hardworking Kitchen Hand to join our kitchen teams at Castle Hill RSL, Club Parramatta and Lynwood Country Club. You will assist with cleaning, food prep, stock control, and general duties under the Head Chef’s direction.

We value reliability, WHS knowledge, and the ability to work across shifts including mornings, afternoons, and evenings. Training opportunities and staff discounts are offered.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a high-volume catering or kitchen hand role is essential.
• Proven experience working in a commercial kitchen environment.
• Knowledge of WHS (Work Health & Safety) guidelines.
• Availability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings.
• Ability to follow direction and work collaboratively within a team.
• Detail-oriented with excellent communication skills in English.
• Knife skills are a bonus - we'd love to see them!

Responsibilities

• Thorough cleaning of the kitchen, including dishes and floors.
• Food preparation assistance
• Stock rotation and stock control
• Following all health and safety procedures when carrying out all tasks
• Any other adhoc duties as required by our fantastic Chefs and Management
• Operating a commercial dishwasher to a high standard
• Assist with general kitchen duties under the direction of the Head Chef
