Job summary

Bupa Willoughby is seeking a catering professional to provide residents with empathetic, personal meals and service in a modern aged care setting on the Lower North Shore of Sydney.

Role involves basic food prep, meal service, clean dining areas and supporting the team with laundry and cleaning. Cert III Hospitality is highly regarded, and flexible shifts across the week are needed.

Qualifications

• Cert III Hospitality highly regarded.
• Aged care experience is preferred but not essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Understanding of Resident Rights and Aged Care Accreditation Standards.
• Flexible availability for shifts throughout the week.

Responsibilities

• Assist with basic food prep and meal service.
• Provide meals and snacks.
• Clear dining areas and dishwashing.
• Maintain legislated food hygiene and safety practices.
• Ad hoc support to the broader team including laundry and cleaning.

About the Home

Bupa Willoughby is a modern care home set in a lush, leafy suburb on the Lower North Shore of Sydney. You'll be close to the local community with neighbouring; school, church, parks, Chatswood shopping precinct, local shops and transport links nearby. It consists of 85 beds, with a variety of care units. Our primary goal is placing our focus on the health, lifestyle and well-being of our residents.
