Job summary

Cater Care Group in Nambucca Heads, NSW is seeking a friendly Catering Assistant to join our team on a casual basis. In this role you will assist with food preparation, serve residents, handle dishwashing and cleaning, and help maintain high food safety standards while delivering fast and positive service during busy periods.

Experience in kitchens or customer service is valued, and we support training, licensing and career development.

What this role involves:

• Assisting with food preparation
• Customer service - serving our residents meals and snacks
• Dishwashing and cleaning kitchen and dining areas
• Maintaining food hygiene and safety practices
• Providing fast, effective service during peak periods with a positive attitude

Desired Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience assisting in kitchens, food preparation and/or customer service
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a teami>
• Pride in personal appearance and hygiene
• Previous experience in medical/hospital sector would be well regarded
