Job summary

Soldier On is seeking a Catering Assistant to support residents by serving nutritious meals in our aged care setting in Victoria. The role is part-time with a permanent contract and pays $27.09 per hour.

You will help with food preparation, meal service across breakfast to dinner, and maintain a clean, organised kitchen and dining areas. Aged care experience helps, but is not essential; immunisation proof and police check may be required.

Qualifications

• Aged Care experience beneficial but not essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proof of immunisation against vaccine preventable diseases.
• Police check holder (or be willing to obtain a police check)

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate adaptability by taking on various tasks and responsibilities as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the home with equipment
• Assist in food preparation and sandwich-making
• Serving Breakfast, Morning Tea, Lunch, Afternoon Tea and Evening meals
