Job summary

Bupa Merrimac on the Gold Coast is seeking a friendly catering assistant to provide meals and snacks to residents with empathy and personal service.

You will assist with basic food prep, maintain high food hygiene standards, and support the broader care team; Cert III Hospitality is highly regarded, aged care experience is welcome, and shifts are flexible across the week.

Qualifications

• Cert III Hospitality highly regarded
• Aged care experience highly regarded but not essential
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Understanding of Resident Rights and Aged Care Accreditation Standards
• Flexible availability for a variety of shifts throughout the week

Bupa Merrimac is a charming care home in the heart of the Gold Coast. It is close to the local community with schools and shopping centres nearby. 10kms from the CBD, it consists of 98 beds, a with various care units such as dementia, respite, and palliative.
