Job summary

Cater Care Australia is recruiting a motivated Catering Assistant to support our new aged care facility in Lake Cathie. You will assist with food preparation and serve residents meals and snacks, while ensuring high hygiene standards and efficient service.

Ideal candidates bring experience in kitchens or customer service, can work well independently or in a team, and take pride in appearance and hygiene. Prior hospital/medical exposure is a plus; uniform is provided and training opportunities

• Experience assisting in kitchens or customer service
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Pride in personal appearance and hygiene
• Experience in medical/hospital sector would be well regarded

What This Role Involves:

• Assisting with food preparation
• Customer service - serving our residents meals and snacks
• Dishwashing and cleaning kitchen & dining areas
• Maintaining food hygiene and safety practices
• Fast, effective service throughout busy periods - with a good attitude

Desired Skills and Experience

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Experience assisting in kitchens, food preparation and/or customer service
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
• Pride in personal appearance & hygiene
• Previous experience in medical/hospital sector would be well regarded
