Job summary

Northridge Aged Care in Toowoomba, part of Lutheran Services Australia, is seeking a Catering Assistant to support meal preparation and service with warmth and care.

You’ll work with the Chef and team, maintain kitchen hygiene, and engage with residents, providing friendly, person-centred service. The role is permanent part-time with a 48-hour fortnight schedule.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a catering or aged care kitchen environment (preferred).
• A commitment to food safety and a team-focused attitude.
• Compassion, reliability, and strong attention to detail.

Bring your passion for food and service to our Northridge Aged Care team. As a Catering Assistant, you’ll help create enjoyable dining experiences that brighten the days of our residents.

Location: Toowoomba - QLD

Role Type: Permanent Part Time | 48 hrs Fortnight

Remuneration: $28.32 - $30.58 ph + Super + Salary Packaging + Shift Penalties + Staff discounts & benefits.

Work Roster

Week 1: Tuesday (12:30 pm - 7:00 pm) | Wednesday, Friday & Saturday (8:00 am - 2:30 pm)

Week 2: Thursday (12:20pm - 7:00pm) | Wednesday, Friday & Saturday (8:00 am - 2:30 pm)
