Job summary

Soldier On is seeking a Kitchenhand to join the catering team at a workplace located near Penrith, NSW. The role involves assisting in the kitchen, dishwashing, food preparation, and maintaining cleanliness and stock control.

Shifts run Monday to Sunday, 6:30am to 8:00pm, with training provided. You will be supported by a team focused on excellent service and opportunities for internal promotion.

Qualifications

• Kitchenhand or back-of-house experience is essential.
• Knowledge of allergens, therapeutic diets and infection control procedures is highly desirable.
• Police Clearance holder (or be willing to obtain a police clearance).

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate adaptability by taking on various tasks and responsibilities as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen with equipment.
• Maintain stores and monitor stock where needed.
• Assist in the kitchen with dishwashing, cleaning, food preparation, and other duties as required.
