Life Without Barriers in Adelaide is seeking Youth Mentors to support young people aged 8–17 across Foster Care and CARE School Retention programs. Mentors work after school or on weekends, building positive relationships and modelling life skills, education, and employment pathways.

The casual role (minimum 3 hours per week) offers flexible hours, with penalties for weekend shifts. Successful applicants will complete probity checks and hold current First Aid and Safe Environments certificates,

Qualifications

• Mentors are matched to a child or young person by personality, interests and location.
• Casual role with minimum 3 hours per week; hours may vary and not guaranteed.
• Compliance with probity checks (National Criminal History, NDIS, WWCC) is required.

Responsabilités

• Provide pathways to education, employment and community activities.
• Facilitate recreational and sporting activities for young people.
• Support guardianship arrangements within foster and residential care.
