Job summary

Shellharbour City Council seeks a Weighbridge Administration Officer to ensure smooth weighbridge operations at the Dunmore Waste Depot. You will handle customer service, admin tasks, and maintain the customer database, using Mandalay for eftpos transactions and reconciliation.

This casual, on-site role requires a White Card or eligibility to obtain one, with shifts 7:30am–4:00pm, Monday to Friday, and a starting rate of $38.19 per hour plus allowances.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Office Administration or equivalent experience.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, especially with the public.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry.
• Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks.
• General Construction Induction Card (White Card) or ability to obtain prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Operate the weighbridge using Mandalay software for eftpos transactions, receipting, reconciliation and maintaining customer database.
• Provide outstanding customer service and manage administrative tasks.
• Support the overall functionality of the Waste Services and weighbridge operations.
• Work on-site with casual shifts Mon-Fri, 7:30am–4:00pm.
