Job summary

Lifeline Queensland is seeking a Warehouse Assistant to support export production and stock handling at our Molendinar site. The role involves operating a baling machine, moving crates, and assisting with loading/unloading to ensure a smooth supply chain for our charity operations.

The position emphasizes physical fitness, safe work practices, and teamwork to meet daily targets while maintaining accurate records and clean, organized work areas.

Qualifications

• Forklift licence and prior experience working in a Warehouse environment.
• Inherent physical demands require you to lift, stand and walk for extended periods.
• Be able to work collaboratively with colleagues to meet deadlines and team goals.
• Take pride in accurate, safe work practices and task ownership.

Responsibilities

• Operate baling machine to support export production and storage of goods.
• Manually move crates/items to ensure a continuous stock supply for production.
• Assist with loading and unloading of trucks and containers.
• Pack rags to standard in preparation for dispatch.
• Maintain work stations and storage areas clean and tidy.
• Report maintenance or safety issues to supervisor and ensure paperwork is kept up to date.
