Job summary

The Fresh Collective is seeking passionate Casual waitstaff all rounder to join their team at the Australian Museum. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who have a strong desire to provide exceptional service in a dynamic environment.

You will be part of the front of house team with shifts from 9am to 5pm, open late on Wednesdays. This casual role requires 25 hours per week and a minimum of 1 year experience in a busy high-end restaurant, plus NSW RSA.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in a busy high end a la carte restaurant / bistro.
• Able to carry 3 + plates.
• Barista skills with basic latte art.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Hold NSW RSA and Australian Working Rights.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Well presented with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high-quality service to guests.
• Work as an integral part of the front of house team.
• Shift pattern: 9am–5pm, Mon–Sun with late start on Wednesday.

• Open Monday to Sunday with shifts between 9am to 5pm, open late on Wednesday
• Day shifts and Wednesday's evening availability required
• Casual position
• 25 hours per week
• Hourly rate: Mon–Fri $33.85/hr | Sat $40.62/hr | Sun $47.39/hr + super

About You

• 1 year experience in a busy high end a la carte restaurant / bistro
• Able to carry 3 + plates
• Barista skills with basic latte art
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment
• A team player who can work independently
• Well presented with a great work ethic and a positive attitude
• Excellent communication skills
• Hold valid NSW RSA
• Valid Australian Working Rights
