Job summary

Greencross Ballarat Veterinary Clinic is seeking an experienced Veterinary Nurse to join our close-knit team. This casual or part-time role offers up to 3-4 days per week with the potential to increase hours and transition to permanent as the clinic grows. You will contribute across theatre, anaesthesia, medical nursing, and client education in a supportive, team-based environment.

No Sundays or after-hours; short Saturday shifts may apply, and we encourage ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing required or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2+ years of clinical veterinary nursing experience.
• Strong surgical nursing experience.
• Able to monitor anaesthesia independently.
• Excellent patient care and animal handling skills.
• Experience in medical and hospital nursing.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Works well independently and as part of a collaborative team.

• Surgical nursing and theatre assistance.
