Job summary

Greencross Noarlunga is seeking a qualified Veterinary Nurse for a casual position. You will support vets and nurses during busy periods, participate in medical and surgical nursing, and help maintain high patient and client care standards in a busy Petbarn-based clinic.

The role offers a flexible schedule in a modern clinic with in-house lab, digital X-ray, and supportive leadership. You will join a team that values collaboration, learning, and work-life balance while delivering excellent care.

Qualifications

• Holds a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing.
• Has at least 2 years of clinical veterinary nursing experience.
• Confident across medical and surgical nursing.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong anaesthetic monitoring and patient care capabilities.
• Calm and organized in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Assisting veterinarians during consultations, treatments, and procedures.
• Surgical preparation and theatre assistance.
• Monitoring anaesthesia and patient recovery.
• Medical nursing and inpatient care.
• Dental procedures and patient care.
