Indigeco Pty Ltd is seeking a reliable Trailer Operator for our roadside operations team based in Ingleburn, NSW. This casual, field-based role involves driving, towing and safely deploying specialised trailers across NSW, with 16–20 hours per week over 2–3 days.

You will work independently in the field, perform vehicle and trailer inspections, and use mobile apps to complete checklists and reports, all while maintaining high safety standards on busy roads.

Qualifikationen

• Experience towing and reversing heavy trailers.
• Current driver's licence.
• Strong safety awareness.
• General mechanical knowledge or hands-on maintenance experience.
• Confidence using smartphones, tablets and computer applications.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Strong time management and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently in a field environment.
• A calm and professional approach with the public.
• Flexibility to work across locations and shifts.

Aufgaben

• Driving and towing trailers to designated locations across NSW.
• Safely reversing and positioning trailers at deployment sites.
• Completing vehicle, trailer and equipment inspections.
• Following deployment schedules and operational instructions.
• Conducting onsite risk assessments and identifying hazards.
• Working safely around moving traffic and changing roadside conditions.
• Completing safety checklists and reporting hazards or incidents.
• Carrying out basic cleaning and minor maintenance of trailers and equipment.
• Identifying mechanical or technical issues and escalating where required.
• Performing basic troubleshooting and in-field support.
• Using mobile applications and electronic devices to complete checklists, reports and tasks.
• Communicating with supervisors and support teams.
• Working independently while maintaining safety and professionalism.
