Responsibilities

• Tanker operations: connect marine loading arms and hoses to vessels safely and efficiently.
• Product integrity: manage hydrocarbon flow rates and enforce quality controls to keep fuels pure.
• Technical maintenance: oversee critical pipeline operations, including high-pressure line drainage and pigging.
• Safety & liaison: lead safety inspections and coordinate between vessel crews and shore teams for zero-spill operations.

Your Mission: Frontline Action on the Port

Your office isn't behind a desk—it’s the wharf, the ships, and the terminal floor. As our Casual Terminal Operator, you’ll be on the front lines of high-stakes, heavy-duty marine operations, safeguarding product integrity and driving technical precision across Port Botany’s waterfront infrastructure.

What will you be doing?

• Tanker Operations: Gear up on the berth and connect marine loading arms and hoses to international sea vessels safely and efficiently.
• Product Integrity: Master hydrocarbon flow rates and enforce zero-compromise quality controls to keep fuels pure.
• Technical Maintenance: Take command of critical pipeline operations, including high-pressure line drainage and advanced pigging procedures.
• Safety & Liaison: Lead continuous safety inspections and act as the vital communication bridge between ocean vessel crews and the shore team for zero-spill operations.
