Vopak Australia invites applications for a Casual Terminal Operator at Port Botany. Your office is the wharf and terminal floor, where you’ll support frontline marine operations, safeguard product integrity and maintain high safety standards during loading and unloading of fuels.

You’ll work 24/7 rotating days and nights in a hands-on role, with a flexible hybrid work approach where possible. We value grit, technical curiosity, and a proactive mindset in a fast-paced, safety-driven environment.

Your Mission: Frontline Action on the Port

Your office isn't behind a desk—it’s the wharf, the ships, and the terminal floor. As our Casual Terminal Operator, you’ll be on the front lines of high-stakes, heavy-duty marine operations, safeguarding product integrity and driving technical precision across Port Botany’s waterfront infrastructure.

What will you be doing?

• Tanker Operations: Gear up on the berth and connect marine loading arms and hoses to international sea vessels safely and efficiently.
• Product Integrity: Master hydrocarbon flow rates and enforce zero-compromise quality controls to keep fuels pure.
• Technical Maintenance: Take command of critical pipeline operations, including high-pressure line drainage and advanced pigging procedures.
• Safety & Liaison: Lead continuous safety inspections and act as the vital communication bridge between ocean vessel crews and the shore team for zero-spill operations.
