• Assist in coaching, mentoring and developing new educators as part of the Foundation Educator pathway.

The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join the TAFE Queensland Automotive Educational Delivery team on aCasualbasis. The successful applicant will become a member of the existing team delivering the nationally recognisedToyota Network Training programbased in New South Wales. The specialised Toyota training program provides certificate three pathway for apprentices and school-based students who are currently employed within a Toyota Dealership.

As a TAFE Educator / Toyota Trainer in Automotive space, you have the opportunity to influence the careers of future industry persons by sharing your extensive industry knowledge in the classroom or other educational settings.

It would be advantageous for the applicant to have worked in multi-faceted roles within a dealership environment and having the experience, depth of knowledge of dealership methodologies e.g. Processes, technology and people.

This position reports to the Educational Team Leader and the Business Manager.

Additionally, to become a TAFE Queensland teacher you must hold, or be willing to obtain, a qualification in adult education. Primarily this qualification is TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or equivalent.
